Frequently asked questions about Mumline, our privacy standards, and upcoming Google Play availability.
What is Mumline?
Mumline is an independent Android studio building free, privacy-first tools for everyday problems. We believe software should respect people: no tracking, no accounts, and on-device processing.
Are the apps free?
Yes. Free access is a foundational principle of Mumline. There are no paid tiers, subscriptions, or hidden charges.
Where can I download the apps?
Quiet Drop is now officially published on Google Play Store, while Ciphera and Calculator Vault are currently in closed testing.
Do your apps collect any personal data?
No. None of our apps collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, location, or usage analytics. We operate on a strict zero-knowledge architecture.
Can Quiet Drop and Calculator Vault work without internet?
Yes. Both Quiet Drop and Calculator Vault are 100% offline applications. Quiet Drop transfers files over direct local Wi-Fi, and Calculator Vault requests zero internet permissions.
How does Ciphera protect messages and calls?
Ciphera uses authenticated AES-256-GCM encryption with X25519 key exchange. Signaling relays operate strictly in volatile RAM, and calls are negotiated peer-to-peer via WebRTC.
